Sean Riley - Entelligence

I am the Managing Director & founder of Entelligence.  Based in Cape Town, South Africa, I am passionate about marketing & online technologies.

Cool Stuff

I looove fishing, and am a keen soccer player, swimmer, & a huge fan of Springbok rugby.  OK, so that could be just about any proud South African male.  I recently caught a 200kg Ragged Tooth Shark with a scarborough reel in the Transkei.  This wouldn’t be a completely honest bio if I didn’t admit to regularly having a blast with friends.

Work Stuff

I worked for Credit Suisse in London from 1996 – 1998, where I developed tactical applications for the derivatives team.  In 1999 I returned to South Africa and founded E-Data Trading Solutions, where my online share trading software was implemented during 1999 for E*TRADE Group in South Africa.  At the end of 1999 Entelligence was born & it has been a blast ever since.  I also consult on tech related venture capital investments to VC firms in South Africa.

My Values

My life values include:

Have fun while you do whatever it is you’re doing – life is passing you all the time, so make the most of it

Be true to yourself – the one thing only you can influence is your honour – do everything with integrity & openness.

Don’t hold back.  Life is too short for half measures.  Say what you think.  Act on your gut.
